Our printer was out of ink starting in March 2020 and since then we haven't bought a replacement yet. Last August 2020 I managed to buy a new ink cartridge both tri-color and black. After finally replacing it, the black cartridge was not compatible as my HP app is telling me. So I searched on HP's website for the possible reasons and solutions to it. The black cartridge on my computer was blinking non-stop. So I did all of the basic troubleshooting it told me to do. Unfortunately, it's still not working. I tried buying 1 more black ink cartridge but still, it says it's not compatible so I really think the problem is my printer. What should I do? I also updated my printer recently so I don't have any more ideas on how to fix it. If you have any solutions, please tell me. I badly need my printer for this online schooling to print my modules from school.
