I have a ho Deskjet 2755e printer and I just bought new hp67 color and black ink cartridges. I took out the old ones put the new ones in as I always do, but this time during the alignment printing test I accidentally cancelled it think it was some old printing job. Color ink is reading just fine but it is saying that blank ink is empty.
I have tried everything from unplugging printer and u plugging from wall socket and waiting from 1min to hours before plugging in for the memory to reset and it still will not recognize it. I have even out old black ink cartridge and it reads that one just fine and then try putting the new black ink cartridge and it still won't recognize it. I have also tried cleaning copper area on cartridge and inside printer and waiting for it to dry and then trying again and it still did not work.
The fact that it did recognize it the first time I entered it but now it doesn't makes me feel like the cartridge is not the issue. Anyone have any other tips I can try, I already ordered a new black ink, but if I can fix this one for a later use that would be great.
