Mac Sonoma 14.4.1. Newly installed color cartridge not communicating with printer, envy 7155. Previous to this I had no problems printing. Did all the troubleshooting, rebooting, another new cartridge, cleaned the contact points to no avail. Instant ink are sending new cartridges. Chatted with HP and was told the printer was obsolete and I needed a new printer. Saw this printer on sale on Amazon. Is there a remedy

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Since you have tried everything, I suggest you wait for the new ink cartridges and see if that works. If not the printer might need service.
However, try updating the firmware. Click here and see if that helps.
