Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I replaced my ink cartridges and received the following message:  "The indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer. If this problem persists, replace the cartridges." I replaced them with the exact cartridges the printer calls for, took them out, put them back in, and rebooted the printer...still not working.

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? What are the cartridge numbers?  Are the cartridges HP or third party?

I followed the advice of unplugging/rebooting the printer; removing and replacing cartridges before and after rebooting the printer. Eventually the printer accepted the HP envy inspire color cartridge, but never the black. We returned the printer and got a different model.

…and yes, the cartridges were the correct HP cartridges.
