Microsoft Windows 11

I occasionally use my Envy 7155 printer for making color prints. I routinely end up with 1/2 to 3/4 full cartridges that barely print. I have been able to resurrect a few if it hasn't been too long between print (2-3 weeks) but generally I end up throwing them out as the print quality is unusable. The cartridges are genuine HP cartridges.

The question I have is if I store them in a vacuum sealed bag (or just a sealable mylar bag) when not in use will they last longer? I have read here that the ink doesn't dry out and that the print heads are the issue. In my case once the cartridges are swapped they printer works perfectly.
