Hi @Noracy

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I would like to let you know that the printers are region-specific.

Based on the region it was setup, it uses that region cartridges only.

Let me attach an image showing the cartridge compatibility chart.

So if the printer was setup in Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and CIS then it uses 123 and 123XL Black and 123 and 123XL Tri-color cartridges.

You need to replace with 123 cartridges only.

However, if the printer will be used in a different region from where it was originally bought and used, we need to perform some changes called regional reset for your printer, only after that you will be able to use the printer with the current region ink cartridges.

If this solution hit the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
