Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What exactly are any error messages on the printer or computer screen? Are the cartridges genuine HP or third party?
Typically refilled cartridges will show as empty. If your cartridges are third party I would suggest contacting your dealer (again) for a replacement.

No messages. The place where it shows the status of how much ink is left in empty and flashing light.
Yes, the cartridges are all HP brands. Opened all 3 back to back and none will show the black is full on the printer, still shows empty. Have turned the printer on and off and still the same. Tried my color and it shows slot full.

OK, the likely cause would be an electrical connection issue between the black cartridge and its connections in the printer. (It would be very very unlikely to have multiple cartridges have an issue.) I would suggest cleaning the electrical contacts in the printer and on the cartridge as shown on page 75 of the user manual here:
The above should resolve the issue. Once the printer is working you still have an issue of two opened cartridges. I would suggest putting them in a small plastic container with a tight-fitting lid as shown in the document here. Do not replace the tape on the nozzles, this could damage the cartridge.
