My black and color look completely full yet when I go to print it is really blurry or not printing the whole thing. I tried a test page and it is the right one which I can't read at all. I appreciate the help! IMG_3355.jpg

It does seems likely as a problem with the black ink cartridge, is this a new cartridge or might be an older cartridge with no much usage?

 

Please remove the black cartridge from the printer and close the door, then try printing again with the color cartridge only, may you see any change?

When I just did that, it sounded like it was printing but only a blank white paper came through with no markings.

Please insert the black cartridge back and then hold the cancel button for 3 seconds to print a Printer Status Report, can you see clear black text or not?

 

That’s in order to better understand if the problem is with the tri-color cartridge or both.

 

Also please clarify regarding its usage, are these new or old cartridges? Genuine or replacement?

I forgot to put the black back in before hitting cancel. This printing came out really well (almost perfect). I then put the black in with the color and the page is almost completely blank. 

 

I don't use my printer very often, maybe once or twice every few months so yes the cartridge is old (less than a year though).
