Need help with resetting ink cartridges

Hi @Dharmik88 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printers don’t support a manual ink level reset feature, as HP printers use built-in chip technology in genuine HP cartridges to track ink levels. However, here are a few steps that might help if your ink levels are not displaying correctly:

Check Cartridge Authenticity: Ensure you’re using genuine HP ink cartridges. Third-party or refilled cartridges may not display accurate ink levels and can cause compatibility issues.

Reinsert the Cartridges:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power.
  • Remove each cartridge, inspect it for damage or leaks, then reinsert it securely.
  • Reconnect the power and turn the printer on to see if the ink levels update.

Update Printer Firmware: Firmware updates can help resolve issues with ink level recognition.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore to Default.
  • After resetting, the printer should re-evaluate the ink cartridges.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
