@Dandadandan, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Checking Ink Levels on HP ENVY 6000e Series!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To check the ink levels on your HP ENVY 6000e series printer, follow these instructions:
Check Ink Levels from the Printer Control Panel
- Touch the Ink Status icon at the top of the home screen to display the estimated ink levels.
- Note: If you have installed a refilled or remanufactured cartridge, or a cartridge that has been used in another printer, the ink level indicator might be inaccurate or unavailable.
Check Ink Levels Using HP Smart App
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- View the Estimated supply levels next to the printer image. It might take a few minutes for the ink levels to display.
Check Ink Levels Using Printer Software on Windows
- HP Printer Assistant: Search Windows for the name of your printer, and then select it in the list to open HP Printer Assistant.
- From the top menu bar, view the Estimated Levels for your printer. If you do not see this feature in the menu bar, try one of the other methods for checking levels.
Check Ink Levels on macOS
- On your Mac, click the Spotlight icon and search for Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer in the list, and then click Options & Supplies.
- Click the Supply Levels tab to check the ink or toner levels.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
