Hi @MRSK86,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP printer indicates that ink is not detected despite having all tanks filled, you can take the following steps to resolve the issue:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn it on.

Check Ink Installation:

  • Open the printer's ink compartment.
  • Ensure that the ink cartridges or tanks are correctly installed and seated properly.

Clean Cartridge :

  • Gently remove the cartridges.
  • Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water to carefully clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges.
  • Allow them to dry completely before reinserting them into the printer

Ink cartridge and printer:

  • Perform a Printhead Alignment:
  • Access the printer menu and navigate to the "Settings" or "Maintenance" section.
  • Choose the "Align Printhead" option and follow on-screen instructions.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Visit the official HP website to ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. Updating firmware can resolve detection issues.

Consult the User Manual:

  • Refer to your printer's user manual for any model-specific instructions or troubleshooting advice.

Take care and have an amazing day!
