Hi @Chelsyw,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having an issue with your printer where the ink is not printing clearly or strongly enough. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this problem:

Check Ink Levels: Make sure your printer has enough ink. If cartridges are low, replace them with new ones.

Clean the Print Head: Most printers have a maintenance option to clean the print heads. You can usually find this option in the printer's menu or in the printer software on your computer. Run the cleaning cycle a few times and then try printing a test page.

Check Cartridge Alignment: Ensure that the cartridges are properly aligned. You can typically do this from the printer's maintenance menu or using the printer software on your computer.

Use the Right Paper: Make sure you're using the type of paper that is recommended for your printer. Some inks may appear faint if the paper isn't suitable.

Update Printer Drivers: Outdated printer drivers can cause issues. Check the hp website for the latest driver software for your printer model and install it.

Check for Clogged Nozzles: If cleaning the print head doesn't work, the nozzles might be clogged. For inkjet printers, you can try removing the ink cartridge and gently cleaning the area around the nozzle with a damp cloth. Be very careful not to damage the nozzle.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
