The colour ink cartridge showed as empty which I was surprised about. However I changed it. It initially showed as full but after 1 black and white print showed empty again. This is on the printer and on the app

Does this only happen with the black cartridge? Are you using HP Genuine inks?

 

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

It's the colour ink cartridge. This was supplied by HP. I am not sure how I go to this link via the printer

Open the link on your Computer and update the firmware.

there is not a link on my smartphone. My daughter also has the same issue. The ink is showing empty on the printer and so is not printing

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.

I have been in contact with HP whatsapp support. They are sending another cartridge as it seems I had used the set up cartridge. Although I am not sure why I hadn't received a replacement to the one that was replaced as I pay a monthly fee
