What ink type does the 8030 use? Is it a dye ink?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 All-in-One Printer uses HP 910 or HP 910XL ink cartridges. These cartridges contain pigment-based ink, not dye-based ink. Pigment-based inks are generally more resistant to fading and water, making them well-suited for documents that need to be durable and long-lasting.
