First time to post so please have patience with me! I just bought a used Envy 4500 printer on Ebay that came with 5 ink cartridges. Let the buyer beware: they are Instant Ink cartridges, a program I was unaware of until today. Maddeningly, it made a copy (which is mostly what I need it for) at first, but when I connected to wireless, it said "Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in Instant Ink." The previous owner must have been enrolled at one time, I'm guessing. I thought about enrolling at the lowest level (I certainly don't need cartridges any time soon), but I have read so many horror stories on here, I'm afraid to do that. So I thought about just using a regular HP cartridge from Walmart, but I read horror stories about how that doesn't work after the printer has been enrolled in the program. So now I am at a loss as to what to do. Any suggestions or opinions?
