6400e series printer. Sounds like it's printing, but out comes a blank paper.  Not out of ink

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve blank pages printing on your HP Envy 6400e  printer.

If the steps in that document did not resolve the issue, I would suggest the following (after running through the steps in the document above):  remove the cartridges and inspect them to make sure the protective nozzle tape has been removed.  If the tape has been removed gently blot the printhead on a damp folded tissue.  A good black cartridge will show a strong blot of black ink, the color will show a blot including cyan, magenta and yellow. Please post your results.

[Edit - an additional thought:  make sure the printer is only turned off from its own switch.  If an external switch is used to turn off the printer it may not properly park the cartridges, allowing them to dry out.]
