Product: Envy photo 7855

I am looking at purchasing a new HP printer. I would like to print color images for mixed media paper crafting. Is the HP ink water resistant?  I cannot locate any information anywhere or get in touch with an actual HP person to answer my question. So decided the next step is to contact the community. Thank you.

HP ink is water-based, it will dissolve in water.
