I have an HP Instant Ink marketing piece that came with my printer at purchase with states that with the LIGHT program

"Print FREE for Life"

$0/mo. 15 pages/mo.

I also have just been notified that no longer will that be the case and next year there is a fee that is FALSE advertising. Regardless of the amount you DO NOT do that to long term customers.

If you want to have a new pricing plan for new purchases on your printers that is fine but do NOT market your printers with a pricing plan and not honor that commitment.

Is this false advertising?

Where do you get that ? "Print FREE for Life" ! I would like to have that. How can a vendor can offer to give away liquid gold (aka inks).

Regards.

Oh I sure have it.

A color insert within the box. It's even printed in French on the back page for those French Canadians out there I assume here in North America.

PRINT FREE FOR LIFE  - Light

The welcome email to the program I received nearly 2 years ago also references it as a program with "Free Ink for the Life of the printer"... so it's a little more descriptive.

So, it's still False Advertising regardless of what language it's stated in.
