II have had recurring issues with print quality.  When printing it is placing lines across the pictures which makes the document unusable.  I have tried using HP WhatsApp support but this is quite frankly unhelpful.  Telling me to restart my printer will not fix such an issue as I believe it is linked to possibly a faulty printhead.  First time I contacted HP support they got me to go through all the c leaning process etc and then sent me new cartiridges because I complained that this was using all my ink (I had already done the process myself).  This time its the same thing so not resolving the issue and I can't find any other way to escalate this at the minute.  Any other help would be appreciated.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your HP printer is not working correctly.

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers

  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP OfficeJet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

To reinstall, click here. and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Thanks @Echo_Lake - Print and Scan Doctor said it found a couple of issues and resolved them but not sure what these were.  The test print afterwards definitely has improved what was previously showing so hopefully thats resolved the issue.  I haven't ran the second part of the advice but if the problem returns i can revert back to these options.  Thank you again for your help.
