Product: ENVY 4522
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I just bought a new HP ink cartridge and I keep getting the same "incompatible Cartridge" error from the printer. I tried every troubleshooting step outlined here but nothing has worked. I don't have a replacement cartridge but the old cartridges (that are now empty) are being recognized just fine so I really don't think it's an issue with the printer. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi,

Which cartridges did you replace? are these genuine HP ink cartridges?

What is the cartridge number listed on its label?

Can you see a circle or 3 dots above or below the error? to better identify which cartridge is the problem, this is a cartridge fault and not a printer problem indeed so let's figure out what is going on.
