HP Color Laser MFP 178nw
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. I owned a LaserJet  MFP 178nw which was 1.5 years old and less than 500 pages printed from the printer. The printout was dirty. I contacted them Hp support and none of the proposed resolutions work. HP support final recommendation is for me to buy a new printer.

Anyone has similar issues before and managed to resolved it? If yes, could help to share what was done to resolve it.

That is an imaging drum issue.

Hi,

How are the toner supplies level? were these replaced?

The introductory color toners provided with the printer are for approx. 500 print jobs.

Please print a Supplies Information report and locate the Life Remaining section, what is the listed value for any of the 4 toner cartridges?

Hi Valsimot

Does it mean I will need to buy a new printer?

HP shared they do not provide any repair services as my 1 year warranty period expired in Oct 2022.
