HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130nw
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Laserjet Pro MFP M130nw. I have the low toner warning threshold set to 10%. With at least the last two cartridges, the toner has run out before the printer issues the low toner warning. By 'run out' I mean it has started to leave light areas in vertical strips down the paper. Until this happens, the printer functions perfectly.

I have tried removing the cartridge and gently shaking it, and also running the cleaning program from the control panel, but these have not improved the printout.

I can't find anything in the handbook or the online support about this. Any suggestions welcome!

Check the toner level.

In your case, I would replace the toner cartridge.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
