Ordered a 206X toner cartridge for my computer. Cannot replace it. It doesn't sit right and not line up to print. Is this right. Do we only need to use the 206A cartridges? Can someone tell me if these are not interchangeable...if I have colored toner that are 206A, must I use a black 206A instead of a 206X? In other words, can you tell me if I must use either all A or all X cartridges? Right now I am trying to install a black X while all the other full colored cartridges are A's. Thank you.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
To get the answer to this question, Yes you need to have all same ink cartridges regardless of A or X.
Refer to the article Replacing Toner Cartridges Which toner cartridges work with my printer?
