When my 8620 inkjet started misbehaving, I resuscitated my LaserJet 2550L . I plugged it in, turned it on - everything working fine, no issues printing although low/empty lights were on for CY cartridges. Installed new cartridges. Now print jobs are processed and paper feeds through but ink is not dispensed from ANY cartridge - nothing. I've been through the manual and it doesn't look as if I had to take any other steps. Any suggestions?

That printer model is know for its out of alignment toner carousel that makes printer to print blank pages. It's complicated to repair. The printer needs to be repaired.

We stripped the printer down and reassembled it but no luck. The carousel mechanism was misaligned so that is fixed and the printer responds to a print command and feeds paper but still no actual content being printed. Since the only other consumable is the imaging drum, is there any way to test it to see if it is the problem? This printer model doesn't have a digital panel so there is no way to see any error codes.
