Hi
I have a HP laserjet 100 color MFP M175nw printer and I mistakenly put a cyan toner in the black port and I am getting a 54.2 error code. I am trying to rotate the cartriges so I can put black back in an replace cyan, but it is not doing anything.
Help

You can rotate and remove the toners manually when the printer is OFF, after they are out, turn the printer ON, and install back one by one.

You got a 54.2 error because the cyan cartridge was placed in the black slot. To fix it, turn off and unplug the printer, remove all cartridges, then reinstall each one in its correct color slot (black in black, cyan in cyan, etc.). Make sure they click in properly before closing the door and powering the printer back on. If it still doesn’t work, check the cartridge contacts or try genuine HP cartridges.
