HI guys,
i bought a M283FDW which was defective (the scanner carriage was not moving).
I broughtit back to store and they did get a new one from HP.
They gave it to me and told me they placed my toners inside, which was fully ok.
However once at home, my toners are recognized as 'authentic but already used in another machine' and thus i do not have access to their level... I tried to get help from HP since hours cause this is not normal and i need a solution...
I contacted them on twitter, buit did not get any real answer. They asked me to contact support but when i try to do that, it says my printer is out of warranty and that this one began on 1/22 while it was only produced on 5/22 and i did get it last week. And because of that i cannot have any access to HP support or i have to pay for it.
Anyone has an idea on how to solve that? Or is there anyone here from HP and loving is job enough to assist?
my country i belgium.
thanks!

Well, you think it's normal but i don't think it's normal.
Indeed my toners had maybe between 30 and 10% levels left but it means i could use them for the next 6 months...
While now i got a new printers BUT i would have to buy new cartridge because they changed my printer?!
It's an absolute non sense!

I had also another trouble, my new printer (exchanged because or carriage proble) was not printing black.
As the level could not be seen, HP always told me it's bnecause of my original toner empty (of course, it was printing perfectly before exchanging the printer and SUDDENLY, by the second i changed it, it was empty...).
I had a compatible toner at hand, same problem. Then HP told me it's because my compatible toner is not working. ...
Ok, I bought a brand new one HP toner and you know what? That printer still doesn't print black! Even on test page, the colors are ok and present but absolutely no black coming out.
HP printers and service are just ridiculous. They continue asking me if my printer is under warranty while they just exchanged it under warranty... And when they check the serial number of the new machine it shows 'no warranty' and service is refused to me.
