Hi. I'm trying to replace the original HP black toner cartridge.  When I pull on the blue handle, it releases on the right side but remains locked in place on the left side. Any suggestions on how I can remove the cartridge?  The printer works well otherwise.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi @Gabexyz,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see there is an issue with the cartridges being stuck in the printer. Please do not worry. I am here to help you.

  • Please Open the front door.
  • Grasp the blue handle on the toner cartridge drawer, and then pull out the drawer.
  • Grasp the handle on the toner cartridge, and then pull the toner cartridge straight up to remove it.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
