Laserjet pro m304a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have printing quality issue with Laserjet pro m304a. I have problem to print thin lines. I have used test pattern which has lines from 50um upward with 25um steps and same way gaps from 50um upward with 25um steps. My old 1200dpi laser printer can print the test pattern pretty well. Problem illustrated below (printed and scanned image):

I have tested all available HP drivers and I have not been able to improve this. Fine lines printer setting used. It looks like HP print has big dot at the end of the line and also lines are bold. I have tried to reduce darkness of the print, but I didn't see any impact with that setting. Any ideas how to improve the quality?

Old printer is cheap Samsung SCX-3205. It is about 10 years old, so it might stop working soon.
