Hello-I've had this printer since 2011 or so. It has been just great. I use Mac 0S 13. 7.4 . Recently I changed out the cartridges (generic) and the printer prints with a vertical line of evenly spaced magenta "splotches" (.336" x 0.09") . Is this the cartridge malfunctioning? Thanks

@splitsecond, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Magenta Splotches on HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276nw!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It appears that the issue you are experiencing with vertical lines of evenly spaced magenta "splotches" is likely due to a malfunctioning or faulty cartridge. Using generic cartridges can sometimes lead to these types of print quality issues. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
Check and Clean the Cartridge: Remove the magenta cartridge and check for any visible damage or debris. Clean the contacts gently with a lint-free cloth and reinsert the cartridge.
Replace the Cartridge: Try replacing the magenta cartridge with a new HP-branded cartridge. This can help determine if the issue is with the generic cartridge you currently have installed.
Print Quality Diagnostics: Run a print quality diagnostic from the printer's control panel. This will help identify any issues with the printheads or cartridges.
Firmware Update: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date, as some issues can be resolved through updates.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi @splitsecond,
Thank you so much for marking the solution as accepted — we're really glad it helped! 😊
As for your question about finding your printer’s Wi-Fi email address (HP ePrint address), here’s how you can locate it:
On the Printer:
Go to the control panel on your M276nw.
Tap the ePrint icon or go to Web Services.
If Web Services are already enabled, the printer’s email address should be displayed.
If not, enable Web Services and your printer will print an info sheet with the email address.
From HP Smart or HP Connected:
You can also log into HP Smart or HP Connected with the same account used during setup. The printer email will be listed there under your device.
Let us know if you need help setting that up — happy to guide you through!
Wishing you smooth printing ahead!
Regards,

Zoey-Thank you. I don't see any of those options. I see the Wi-Fi antenna icon. Then there is the Wireless menu. I had the address before, HP sent it to me. I moved and can't find the printout. I need step by step process. Thanks
