@Trasi, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Oh no, those blue lines on the printout definitely look frustrating 😓—especially since you've already done all the right things like cleaning, calibrating, and even changing the cartridges.

Print a Supplies Status Page or Configuration Page:

From the printer control panel, go to:
Setup > Reports > Config Report/Supplies Status Page

Do the blue lines appear on these reports?

Inspect the Cyan Cartridge (Even New Ones):

Remove the cyan cartridge.

Look for any toner leaks, smears, or scratches on the green drum surface.

If you see toner on the drum, especially in a consistent vertical area, the cartridge is likely defective.

Check Transfer Belt & Roller:

Open the rear access panel or toner access door.

Check the black transfer belt surface underneath the toner cartridges. Look for toner buildup or scratches.

Gently clean with a lint-free cloth if you see excess toner (do not use liquids).

Update Firmware:

Go to HP’s site and ensure your printer has the latest firmware. Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support

Reset Printer Settings: Restore factory defaults on your HP printer | HP® Support

Go to Setup > Service > Restore Defaults.
(⚠️ This will reset network settings too—only do this if you've exhausted all else.)
