For  while now, everything I print (that's not words) comes with lines through it. The lines only appear on what's printed. It can be pictures, clip art, etc. but the white parts of the paper are fine. I have cleaned and aligned the cartages . Any other suggestions?

Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if the lines persist. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

To identify the defective ink cartridge, insert one ink cartridge at a time, and try printing.
