My - HP office jet 6950 all in one- has served my for many years and since a couple of months it needs 3 level printer head cleaning every 2nd printout, I quess it is at the end of its life. So I am looking to replace it but can't find in the official specifications the actual number of dpi that the printer can achieve when printing Photos. Photos are my main focus and I am looking for the highest number of dpi . The 6950 had its limitations in that area.
I am not a professional so my wallet has limits. All in one is a good extra but if the printer can scan and copy also that is a nice extra.
Has anybody a good suggestion?.

Hi,
Any Officejet printer with 4 ink cartridges is intended more for daily printing tasks and not for dedicated high-quality photo printing.
I suggest checkingh the HP Envy Photo Series which is more intended for professional photo printing in addition to daily printing tasks:
https://www.hp.com/fr-fr/shop/offer.aspx?p=c-envy-photo-printers
Generally, printers with 2 ink cartridges will provide you more quality and accurate photo printing but the printing cost per page may be a bit higher, 4 ink cartridges printers provide faster print speeds, a cheaper page yield cost but are more limited and accurate on professional photo prinitng.
In general, please consider that using Photo Paper will provide you much higher quality results than using a Plain Paper for photo printing.
