Laserjet M607

Hi!

I've got a problem with M607 and A5 printing.

When printer is loaded with A4 it works fine with full tray2 or only with few sheets in it.

When loaded with A5 (and tray2 adjusted to A5) it works fine when only about 0,5cm (about 1/5 inch) stack of paper loaded, any higher stack of A5 will result an "load paper" message. This message appears when tray2 is closed, if few sheets are removed from tray2 printer reports "ready", so no need to print anything to get this error. After closing tray2 I can hear lifter-motor working.

Replaced already tray2 rollers, no help. Tray2 itself looks fine, can't find any loose/missing parts. Tray2 cavity looks fine, sensors looks to be in place and move properly, no pieces of paper to be seen. And as I said, with A4 printer works fine from tray2. Firmware is not newest yet, will upgrade that, but firmware history did't have any this kind fixes listed. Any ideas?

I would try the firmware first as fixes are often not documented.
