The Envy 6032e doesn’t have a screen on the printer, so you have to use the hp+ app on my pc.
I can’t find a way to make a copy darker when putting an original on the glass.
I have downloaded the user manual for the ENVY 6032e, but it doesn’t show how o make a copy darker.

Hi @pencilmike,
I'd like to help!
I understand you would like to change the copy quality.
Printers without a control panel menu display use default copy settings that cannot be changed. To improve print speed or print quality, or change the size of your copies, scan the original, edit settings with HP scanning software, and then print multiple copies of the scanned document or photo.
To troubleshoot the quality issue, follow the below steps -
Reset the printer
Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
-
If your printer has a rechargeable battery, remove it.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
-
Wait 60 seconds.
-
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
NOTE:HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
-
Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
Check scanner bar functionality
If you have a flatbed scanner, watch the scanner bar while scanning to see if it is working properly.
-
Remove any original documents or photos from the scanner glass.
-
Lift the scanner lid slightly, and then press the Copy button or icon.
-
Look at the scanner. The scanner bar should illuminate and travel across the length of the glass.
If the scanner light does not illuminate or move, Contact HP Customer Support to service the printer.
Also, try the steps in the document -https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06543527
If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks for the info. It’s a tedious process but the only way to make a copy darker.
My previous HP printer had a screen which made quality adjustments very easy.
It was my mistake to buy the HP 6032e printer which has no screen.
