I NEED HELP! My printer is only printing black that is showing only half of the text or letters  ( all skipped) the cartridges are new and I used the Maintenance and cleaned them but nothing is working!

HP Recommended

If lines of characters are missing the top or bottom part of the characters across the page it would be an indication of an electrical connection issue or a defective cartridge.  I would suggest cleaning the cartridge and printer electrical contacts as shown in the document here.

If the above does not resolve the issue and the cartridges are genuine HP I would suggest returning them for warranty replacement,  see the document here for information.
