My printer carriage stopped moving back and forth. I followed troubleshooting help to correct that issue, but not I am unable to print in color. The color ink cartridge is new and has been correctly calibrated. Thank you.

The printer is an HP Photosmart. The product # is CN731A The model number is D110a. It uses HP60 print cartridges.
I did not receive any error messages. The cartridges are calibrated correctly. I tried to copy a page that had both black and color and only the black text was copied.
Thank you.

Printhead could be clogged. Follow these steps to run an automated tool to clean the printhead.
-
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
-
Touch the button (
) next to the Setup icon (
) in the lower-left corner of the control panel.
-
Touch the Right Arrow button (
) to select Tools, and then touch OK.
-
Touch the Right Arrow button (
) to select Clean Printhead, and then touch OK. The printer starts the cleaning process.
NOTE:
Mechanical noises during the cleaning process are normal. A test page prints when the cleaning process finishes.
-
Review the print quality on the printhead test page. If the print quality is still unacceptable, follow the instructions to run the Intermediate cleaning and the Prime cleaning, if necessary.
