HP Recommended

Our Envy 4502 no longer recognizes the HP 61 cartridges.  Message reads:  Incompatible Cartridges.  "The indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer."  We have always used the HP 61 cartridge in this printer.  The HP 61 box clearly states it is compatible with the Envy 4502.  Why did it stop recognizing the cartridge all of a sudden?
