HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One Printer

Hello, I have changed the ink multiple times, so this is not the issue. When I print, there are gaps in the print job, pages come out light. Its almost like its only printing partially. I have tried all of the maintenance features to no avail.  I have some sample pictures attached, things I was trying to print and then how they came out (also the alignment page).

Can this be fixed? Or am I out of luck?Black.pngred-color-solid-background-1920x1080.pngText.jpgGettyImages-185743593-2000-507c6c8883a44851885ea4fbc10a2c9e.jpegIMG_2753.jpg

Hi @Dakattackforlif ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing printing issues with your HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-In-One Printer despite changing the ink cartridges and trying maintenance features. Gaps in print jobs and light printing could indicate several possible issues:

  • Clogged printhead: Ink buildup or debris might be blocking the printhead nozzles, causing inconsistent printing. Cleaning the printhead might resolve this.
  • Alignment issues: Misaligned printheads can lead to uneven printing. Running an alignment process might help correct this.
  • Low ink levels: Even if you've replaced the ink cartridges, it's possible that the new cartridges are low or faulty. Check the ink levels to ensure they're adequate.
  • Printer driver/software issues: Outdated or corrupt printer drivers/software can cause printing problems. Updating or reinstalling the printer software might solve the issue.
  • Paper quality: Low-quality or incompatible paper can affect printing results. Ensure you're using the correct paper type and quality for your printer.

Since you've already tried maintenance features without success, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot further:

  • Run a printhead cleaning cycle: Most printers have a utility for cleaning the printhead. Run this multiple times to ensure thorough cleaning.

Check ink levels: Verify that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink.

  • Align the printhead: If your printer has an alignment feature, run it to ensure the printhead is properly aligned.
  • Update printer drivers/software: Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers and software for your printer model.
  • Use high-quality paper: Ensure you're using the appropriate paper type and quality recommended for your printer.
