Microsoft Windows 11

My HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 printer stopped printing black all of a sudden.  I replaced the black ink cartridge with a genuine HP ink cartridge and I have cleaned and aligned the printhead with no resolution to the problem.  Is there anything else that I can do to resolve this as the printer is not very old?

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 printer. It can be very frustrating when the printer suddenly stops working properly, especially after replacing the ink cartridge.

 

Try updating the firmware. Click here

 

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, either the cartridge or the printer itself is faulty.
