Hi @115Sal,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 won't print black even after replacing the cartridge, here are some steps you can try.
- Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure the new cartridge is properly installed. Remove it and reinsert it to make sure it clicks into place.
- Clean Printhead: Run a printhead cleaning cycle from the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app. This can help clear any clogs.
- Align Printheads: Use the printer's settings to align the printheads. This can improve print quality.
- Check Ink Levels: Confirm that the black ink level shows as full in the printer settings. Sometimes, the printer may not recognize a new cartridge immediately.
- Run the Print Quality Diagnostic: This can help identify any issues with the printheads or cartridges.
- Update Firmware: Make sure your printer has the latest firmware. You can check this in the printer settings or the HP Smart app.
- Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
