My Hp 8028 office jet pro does not print blue on quality report.
I have used the maintenance program to clean the print heads several times. On the last cleaning, the blue ink did not print.
I ran the alignment program a few times and on the last effort it said it could not scan the alignment page and it would set the alignment to the default setting. I also replace the blue ink carteridge

Hi @Chris1524,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 is not printing blue on the quality report, even after cleaning the print heads and replacing the blue cartridge. Let’s go through some troubleshooting steps.
Check the Ink Cartridge
Make sure the cyan/blue cartridge is installed correctly and the protective tape is removed.
Gently remove and reseat the cartridge to ensure proper connection.
Run Print Head Cleaning Again
Use the printer’s maintenance menu to run Print Head Cleaning at least 2–3 times.
After cleaning, print a test page to see if blue is printing.
Check for Clogged Nozzles Manually
Remove the blue cartridge and visually inspect the nozzle for dried ink.
If clogged, soak the nozzle side in lukewarm distilled water for a few minutes, then gently blot dry before reinserting.
Run Print Head Alignment
Try the alignment program again.
If the printer cannot scan the alignment page, ensure the page is placed face down on the scanner glass, clean the glass, and retry.
If alignment continues to fail, proceed to manual alignment (some HP models allow manual input via the software).
Update Printer Firmware & Software
Open HP Smart or HP Printer Assistant → check for printer updates.
Updated firmware can resolve printing inconsistencies.
Try a Different Cartridge
Even new cartridges can be faulty.
If available, try a different cyan cartridge to rule out a defective cartridge.
I hope this helps.
