Product: HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The black ink cartridge ran out for the first time.  The ink cartridges I received from Instant Ink are larger and don't fit in the printer. The cartridge doors won't close. 

 

Black cartridge that came with the printer: 67, 67XL or 67XXL

Black cartridge that came from Instant Ink:  67/305

 

This has been posted before but I don't see a solution. It doesn't fit and needs to be replaced by InstaInk.  Am I missing something here?

HP Recommended

I had to replace both cartridges and it did print.  Solved the problem.  The larger cartridges do work.
