My brand new HP DeskJet 2755e will not print color from any program. When I did the set up the Welcome Page printed in color. Now nothing is printing in color. When the print dialog box shows there is no option for Black & White to check as I have read in previous post.

Hi @Taju1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your brand new HP DeskJet 2755e is not printing color despite the initial Welcome Page printing in color, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your color ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Sometimes new printers may have cartridges that are not fully filled or seated correctly.
Printer Settings: Double-check the printer settings on your computer to ensure that color printing is enabled. Here’s how you can do it:
- Open the document or photo you want to print.
- Click on File > Print.
- In the print dialog box that appears, make sure that the printer selected is your HP DeskJet 2755e.
- Look for any options related to color printing or grayscale printing. Ensure that color printing is selected.
Driver and Software Update: Ensure that your printer drivers and software are up to date. Sometimes updating the printer's software can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be causing the problem.
Printer Preferences: In the print dialog box, check the printer preferences or properties. Look for any settings that might disable color printing or default to grayscale.
Printer Reset: Try resetting your printer. You can do this by turning it off, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for about 1 minute, and then plugging it back in and turning it on.
Test Print: Print a test page directly from the printer. This will help determine if the issue is with the printer hardware or the connection with your computer.
Reinstall Printer: As a last resort, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer on your computer. Sometimes, reinstalling the printer software can resolve underlying issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
