Hi @Farmwife2

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP printer might have a few issues causing those streaks. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check Ink Levels: Low or uneven ink levels can cause streaking. Make sure your cartridges are sufficiently filled.

Clean Printheads: Use the printer’s maintenance utility to clean the printheads. This often resolves streaking issues. You can usually find this option in the printer settings on your computer or through the printer's control panel.

Align Printheads: Sometimes, misalignment can lead to streaks. Most printers have an option to align the printheads, which can also be found in the maintenance section.

Use Quality Paper: Ensure you’re using the right type of paper for your printer. Poor-quality or damp paper can cause issues.

Check for Obstructions: Inspect the printer for any foreign objects or paper dust that might be causing the problem.

Update Drivers: Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. Sometimes software issues can lead to printing problems.

Run a Test Print: Print a test page to see if the issue persists. This can help identify whether it’s a recurring issue or a one-time problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
