Hi @KevinChungusa,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 isn’t printing blue at all and replacing the cartridge didn’t help, the issue is likely with the printhead.
Here’s how you can clean the printhead and try to resolve the issue:
1. Clean Printhead Using HP Smart App
- Open the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device.
- Select your printer from the list.
- Go to "Manage" or "Printer Maintenance".
- Look for "Clean Printhead" or "Printhead Cleaning" and follow the on-screen instructions.
2. Clean Printhead Manually
- Turn on the Printer: Make sure the printer is on and the paper tray is empty.
- Open the Ink Cartridge Access Door: Wait for the carriage to move to the center.
- Remove the Ink Cartridges: Carefully take out the cartridges, including the blue one.
- Remove the Printhead (if applicable):
- For some models, you might need to remove the printhead separately. Check the manual for your specific model if you’re unsure how to do this.
- Clean the Printhead:
- Use a Lint-Free Cloth: Moisten a lint-free cloth with distilled water or a mixture of water and a little isopropyl alcohol (about 10%).
- Gently Wipe the Printhead: Wipe the printhead contacts and nozzle area gently to remove any dried ink or debris.
- Let it Dry: Allow the printhead to dry completely before reinserting it.
3. Clean Printhead Using Printer's Menu
- Navigate to Printer Settings: On the printer’s control panel, go to the settings or tools menu.
- Select Maintenance: Look for an option like "Printer Maintenance" or "Tools".
- Choose Printhead Cleaning: Follow the prompts to clean the printhead.
4. Perform Printhead Alignment
After cleaning the printhead, it’s a good idea to align it to ensure the best print quality:
- Access Printer Settings: Go to the settings or tools menu on your printer.
- Select Alignment: Choose "Align Printhead" or similar.
- Follow Instructions: Complete the alignment process as directed.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
