@Byan, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It looks like your HP Color LaserJet is experiencing print quality issues. Based on the images you provided, here are some possible causes:
- Even if your printer says it has ink, toner cartridges can get clogged or run low unevenly check them once.
- Dust or toner buildup can reduce print clarity.
- A worn-out imaging drum or fuser can cause uneven or faint prints.
- Humidity or environment can affect toner adhesion and cause faded prints.
- Outdated firmware or drivers may also cause miscommunication with the printer.
Remove and Shake the Toner Cartridges
- Take out each toner cartridge and gently shake it to redistribute toner, then reinstall it.
Run a Cleaning Cycle
- On the printer menu, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Page Smears and follow the prompts.
Check Print Settings
- In Windows 11, go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > Your Printer > Printing Preferences and make sure the print quality is set to "Best."
Update Printer Firmware and Drivers:
- Download and install the latest drivers and firmware from HP’s website.
