@Collettyerk, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP envy 6000!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP Envy 6000 printer is printing blank pages after you've replaced the cartridges, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check Cartridge Installation:
- Ensure the cartridges are installed correctly. The protective tape on the new cartridges should be removed before installation.
Run a Printer Diagnostic:
- Use the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app to run a diagnostic test. This can sometimes identify issues with cartridge alignment or other hardware concerns.
Clean the Printhead:
- Over time, the printhead can become clogged. Cleaning may help resolve the issue. You can find instructions for cleaning the printhead through the printer's software, via the printer control panel, or through the HP Smart software.
Check Ink Levels:
- Even new cartridges can sometimes be defective. Double-check the ink levels using the printer’s display panel or the HP Smart app.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Updates can fix bugs or issues with printing.
Perform a Reset:
- Power off your printer and unplug it for about 60 seconds. Then, power it back on to see if the issue resolves.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Thank you Zoey, I replaced the cartridges, cleaned the print head several times, in the end I unplugged for 15 minutes and when plugging printer back in, it printed!!! Not sure why I did not think to do that first.
I appreciate your reply, Thank you!
