My printer is printing blank pages. The ink levels are fine and they are HP ink cartridges both black and color. the printer responds to my printing and will print things that I send to the printer but nothing appears on the page. I've ran the cleaning options on HP smart but nothing is working.

@bkcov, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer is printing blank pages. To assist you better,

  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Do you have any alternate ink cartridges?
  • Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Update the printer firmware

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Clean the ink cartridges up to 2 times and print a test page to check the result.

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
