@Sav-x, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand your HP printer is printing only in pink, even after cleaning the cartridges and running a printer cleaning cycle. Let's work together to resolve this.

Check Ink Levels

Even if ink appears on tissue, one or more cartridges might be low or empty.

  • On the printer control panel or HP Smart app, check estimated ink levels.
  • Replace any cartridge that is low or empty.

Print a Diagnostic Page

This helps identify which color is missing or misfiring.

  • On the printer, go to Settings > Reports > Print Quality Report (or similar path depending on model).
  • Look for missing colors or streaks.

Clean the Printhead (Deep Clean)

If the print quality report shows missing colors, try a deeper clean:

  • Go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
  • If the issue persists, repeat the cleaning up to 2 more times.

Align the Printhead

Misalignment can cause color distortion.

  • On the printer or HP Smart app, go to Printer Maintenance > Align Printhead.

Check Cartridge Venting

Improper venting can block ink flow.

  • Remove the cartridges and inspect the vent (small hole on top).
  • If clogged, gently clean with a pin or soft cloth.

Try a Different Document or App

Sometimes, the issue is with the file or app you're printing from. Try printing a test page or from another app.

Update Printer Firmware

Outdated firmware can cause print issues.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
