My hp office jet 4652 isn't printing right.  I have cleaned the cartridges, aligned the printer, and even did a factory reset.  Anyway I can fix this.

@Mommaof7kiddos, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Jagged or Zigzag Lines on HP OfficeJet 4652!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When your HP OfficeJet 4652 printer is printing jagged or zigzag lines, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

1. Use Genuine HP Cartridges: Ensure that you are using genuine HP cartridges. Non-HP cartridges may cause print quality issues.

2. Check Cartridge Levels:

  • Check the estimated ink levels of your cartridges. Low ink levels can cause poor print quality.
  • If the ink levels are low, replace the cartridges.

3. Align Printheads:

  • From the printer control panel, go to the alignment option and follow the on-screen instructions to align the printheads.

4. Clean the Printhead:

  • Load plain white paper into the input tray.
  • In the HP Solution Center, click Settings, then Printer Toolbox.
  • Click the Device Services tab and select Clean the Printhead. Follow the prompts to clean the printhead.

5. Print a Diagnostic Page:

  • Print a print quality report by loading plain paper in the input tray and using the printer's setup menu to navigate to Tools > Print Quality Report.
  • Evaluate the report for defects like streaked or faded color bars, jagged text, or irregularities in the alignment pattern.

6. Manual Printhead Maintenance:

  • If print quality issues persist, perform advanced printhead maintenance by manually cleaning the printhead with a lint-free cloth and distilled water, following the instructions in your user's guide.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
